Influenza is an acute viral disease of the respiratory tract caused by the influenza virus of which there are 3 main types: A, B, and C. it Is important to detect with time, as it is of rapid spread and serious complications.

Influenza type includes several subtypes depending on the antibodies and dominant that have caused several epidemics in different eras:
- H1N1: Spanish flu in 1918
- H2N2: asian flu in 1957
- H3N2: Hong Kong flu in 1968
