Can I replace the bread of passover in this coming christmas?
During Christmas it is a tradition to eat the bread of passover. Rafael Jiménez, explains that: “it Is difficult to remove the bread of the passover of our diet during these dates, so it is advisable to replace it by a food that we eat on a regular basis. For example, if at breakfast, eat normally two rebanas of bread, this could be supplemented by a piece of this sweet dough”.

“Regarding the celebration of New Year and in particular to dinner, a good recommendation is to eat a lean meat accompanied preferably with vegetables, to finish with some dessert low in calories and served in small quantities, “ says the specialist.

Tips to not gain weight excessively
- Do exercises 3 times a week.
- Avoid consuming sodas and juices sweetened.
- Consume plenty of water.
- Prefer fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, low fat dairy and lean meats.
- Reduce the intake of foods high in sodium, fat and sugar.
